The Elba 44 Log Cabin is a premium quality three room timber building. The standard lay out has roofed veranda (4.2m x 1.4m) at the front with a door leading in to the main room (4.3m x 3.2m) light provided by a half glazed door, a matching window to the veranda and a side window. From this room doors lead into the two smaller rooms (2.4m x 2m & 2m x 1.7m) both of which have windows. The walls are made from 44mm double tongue and grooved and doors and windows are double glazed making it fairly easy, especially if the roof is insulated, to keep warm except in the coldest of winters. This makes it ideal for many possible purposes including:
- Self contained home office or studio, with main office, wash room and “treatment room”
- Garden guest house with lounge, wash room and bedroom.
