The Barbara Log Cabin is a premium quality three room timber building. The standard layout has roof over hang at the front of 1m giving shade and shelter.
The main room is 4.5m x 2.7 with light provided by the two half glazed doors, and two windows. From this room doors lead into the two smaller rooms (2.5m x 2.2m) both of which have windows. The walls are made from 44mm double tongue and grooved and doors and windows are double glazed making it fairly easy, especially if the roof is insulated, to keep warm except in the coldest of winters. This makes it ideal for many possible purposes including:
- Self contained home office or studio, with main office, wash room and “treatment room”
- Garden guest house with lounge, wash room and bedroom.
